Protocols

For this project we’re using it as a way to make our protocols and bioinformatics surveillance pipelines more collaborative and transparent. We’re doing this by ensuring that protocols will be available on protocols.io and bioinformatics surveillance pipelines on github.com. Full description of what we use will be provided there as well as protocols/source code. These are sites that are popular for use on the international level and allow for collaborative comments to be added to the protocols/source code by both KMAs and others in the public. Here discussions on different settings and choices can influence changes to different protocols or bioinformatics source code, including submissions of suggestions to replace sections or expand it. The plan is that these sites will act as the hub for discussion and adjustments to existing protocols and source code in a transparent fashion.
